My Favorite Time Of The Year

Yesterday: The day before the offical day of Spring! It was beautiful!

It is here...it is here! My favorite time of the year! Spring is here! It is a season of new beginnings and growth! Oh, how the green grass grows! Isn't it amazing how God shows off His incredible skills of creation! I love it when the sun beams down to kiss my skin, and how the luke warm wind makes me feel at home again! Oh, the joys of Spring and the new life it brings...it is here!

Today is the first day of spring! However, when I woke up this morning it certainly did not look like it. As I looked out the window this morning I couldn't help but sing, "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow". Yup, apparently God had other plans for the first day of Spring. We had a winter advisory warning and all. Normally, the state of Kentucky would have four seasons within its appointed time, but lately, we get all four seasons within a week (no kidding)!Nevertheless, I enjoy the snow, and it gives me a reason to drink hot cocoa!

Today: I love how the snow allows the tree to look like it has a shoadow. Still a beautiful day!

Did you know that God is in control of everything? The Bible says in Job 37:14-16, "Listen to this, O Job; Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God . Do you know when God dispatches them [clouds], and causes the light of His cloud to shine? Do you know how the clouds are balanced, those wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge". This goes to show us that no matter what we think should happen, God is in control of it all, and His timing and plan is perfect (whether we understand it or not). We may not understand it, but He has proven time after time that we can trust Him!
